· April 4th           Gasconade, MO - Missouri River

· May 2nd            Prophetstown, ILL, Rock River

           This should be a warm-up for the Cabela’s Tournament in June

· July 4th           Louisiana, MO, Mississippi River

· Aug 22nd         Fishing for the Cure, Rock River, Prophetstown, ILL

                          Manufactured Bait Only, Donate to Diabetes Research

· Sept. 12        Taylor’s Landing Columbia, MO, Missouri River

· Oct.  10        Border War Clash, Quincey, ILL, Mississippi River

7:30AM – 3:30 pm

Entry Fee---$65.00 per Boat the Day of the Event

                                                   $60.00 per Boat Early Entry (This includes Big Fish)

Tournament Rules

1. Two persons per boat (A 3rd is allowed if 16 or under)

2. Regular Tournaments - Only three (3) fish will be weighed per boat

3. Manufactured Bait Tournaments - Only seven (7) fish will be weighed per boat

4. All catfish must be a minimum of 15 inches long.

5. All state laws will apply.

6. No alcohol allowed during the tournament. (@ Ramp @ Weigh-in or on the Water)

7. No Trailering

8. All fish must be caught while in the boat by pole and line.

9. All disputes will be decided by the tournament committee and their decision will be final.

10. Big Fish Pot is included into the entry fee. ($20 per Team) This will be 100% PAYBACK!!

11. There will be 80% payback on entry fees. ($40 per Team) 20% goes towards advertisement to make this thing bigger.

12. All fish must come to the weigh-in alive. (No stringer marks) Teams may use live wells or decoy bags.

13. All fish that are weighed in will be return to the water.

14. Rod Limit: 3 rods per person in MO and 2 rods per person in IL.

15. Rod Limit: Missouri – Max. 6 rods in use per boat in MO. /  Max. 4 rods in use per boat in IL

16. Be courteous. Boats must stay 50 yards apart from other participants.

17. A staff member will check each livewell before the boat comes off the trailer.

18. Teams will leave in the order they signed up.

19. Tournament Meeting @ 7:00 am. One (1) team member must be present.

20. Don’t be late. 3:30pm is weigh-in time. (@ 3:31 you’re disqualified)  

21. . Rule violations will be punishable by one(1) or all the following - Disqualification, Suspension, Lifetime Banishment. Cheating is theft, and theft is punishable by imprisonment!

ENCLOSED IS OUR CHECK (Payable to Twisted Cat Tournaments) For 60.00 per team per tournament. If the tournament is cancelled for some unforeseen reason, the money will go towards the next tournament that the team will fish or returned to team.

**We Understand that the volunteer’s of the Twisted Cat Series and Catfish Academy and all who sponsor this tournament series, are not responsible for accidents**

2009 POINTS DIVISION

· Twisted Cats Tournament Series will have a points division. The points division will determine the overall winner of The Twisted Cats Series for 2009 and will be presented at the Border War Clash in Quincy, IL on Oct. 10.

· Points will be tabulated at all Twisted Cats Events ( this includes the Border War Clash)

· Points will be issued in a 2 point staggered system as follows. (Example 15 boats 1st receives 30 pts, 2nd receives 28 pts and so on)

· Any Team not weighing in fish will receive 2 pts for fishing the event.

· Big fish at each tournament is worth 10 pts.

· All ties will be broken by the big fish weight at the Border War Clash

· All points that a team receives will be given to each team member.
