The Catfish Academy will focus on all aspects of catfishing. We want to support and aid the cat-fisherman who is out for a good time and looking for a mess of fish to eat. We want to also aid the trophy fisherman who has mastered the world of catching fiddler cats and has moved on to wanting to put that giant cat in his boat. We want to stress that selective harvest is a definite necessity to the future of cat fishing.
Release of big fish and harvest of small ones in other words is what we are pushing for. Through the aid of our camps, and our video and article support we hope to help all cat-fisherman in some way.
There will be constantly updated articles with accompanying video support so you can not only read what we are doing but you can see it in action also.
We are also proud to announce that we will have a group of catfishing’ kids writing articles and sharing their stories and keeping us up to date on their progress as cat fisherman and woman.
Just like you who visit this site we love catfish and the sport of cat fishing. We will promote cat fishing in the most positive way we can. It is our goal that we as cat fisherman can walk into any local sporting goods store and find what we need for what we do, including maybe a shirt or two that actually promote cat fishing.
More over the main target is to leave cat fishing as good or better for our kids as it is now.
